This October, Blenheim Palace will once again host DogFest – the UK’s premier festival for dog lovers – with an autumn makeover from 04 to 05 October. Expect pumpkins, Halloween fun, live music, and activities designed for families and their four-legged friends.
The historic Oxfordshire estate will be transformed into a seasonal playground, where children can enjoy a two-hour Halloween party complete with disco, games, bubbles, entertainment, and prizes. Fancy dress is encouraged, adding extra sparkle to the celebrations.
Throughout the day, festival-goers can soak up acoustic music sessions, creating a relaxed atmosphere against the golden autumn backdrop of the palace grounds. Food and drink will be served with sweeping views of Bladon Bridge – the perfect spot to pause with your pup. For those with anxious dogs, The Yellow Zone offers a quiet space to unwind.
A magical pumpkin patch will provide a picture-perfect setting for family portraits and doggy snapshots, while Agria’s Halloween face painting will keep little ones (and brave adults) in the spirit of the season.

Of course, the canine stars won’t miss out. Activities include puppy-approved apple bobbing, the Agria Dog Walks held each day, and a family Trick or Treat Walk with sweet rewards along the route. With so many opportunities to explore, play, and pose, dogs of all ages will find plenty to wag their tails about.
Set against the stunning autumn scenery of Blenheim Palace, DogFest promises to be more than just a day out. It’s a celebration of the season, a chance to connect with fellow dog owners, and an opportunity to create lasting memories with both family and furry companions.
As one of the UK’s most beloved dog festivals, DogFest continues to attract thousands of visitors with its mix of entertainment, expert talks, interactive activities, and unique shopping. This year’s autumn edition at Blenheim looks set to be one of the most enchanting yet.
