About An Audience with Bob Champion: Sporting Legend & Grand National Jockey

Experience an extraordinary evening of inspiration and resilience with British sporting legend Bob Champion in this powerful and moving theatre event.

Best known for his triumphant victory in the 1981 Grand National aboard Aldaniti just two years after overcoming cancer, Bob’s story is one of sheer determination, courage, and heart. More than just a jockey, Bob is a national hero whose legacy continues through his tireless work with the Bob Champion Cancer Trust.

In conversation with the ever-charismatic Andi Mac, Bob reflects on his remarkable journey from the racecourses of Britain to the hospital wards where he fought for his life, sharing heartfelt anecdotes, life lessons, and the emotional moments that defined his story.

Adding to the atmosphere is live music from Gaelic Gold, whose stirring Celtic sound provides the perfect prelude to an unforgettable evening.

Produced by Garreth Hicklin, An Audience with Bob Champion is more than a talk; it’s a celebration of hope, grit, and the human spirit.
