Welcome to Oktoberfest at Cogges Manor Farm!

The Barns will be transformed into a Bavarian Bierkeller with long tables decorated for autumn and where you can sit with your friends and family and enjoy a laid-back afternoon of Oktoberfest and rustic farm inspired fun. 

From 6.00pm, entry is for adults only – children and their families who are already at the event are welcome to stay. Any additional under 18’s won’t be admitted from 6.00pm.

Food

Enjoy giant German Pretzels or gingerbread hearts with your stein of beer, then follow up with a hearty Bratwurst hotdog, or Chicken Schnitzel (vegetarian and vegan option available) served with traditional pickles, sauerkraut and a German style potato salad. Afterwards indulge in delicious homemade Apple Strudel and Cream.

Drink

We’ve got a ‘Toll!’ line-up of beers at Oktoberfest this year. 

The Biers (available as a stein or half stein):

• Tap Social Festbier –  smooth, crisp, pale and golden. The official style of beer served at the Munich Oktoberfest!
• Tap Social Inside Out – A rich and roasty oatmeal stout – perfect autumn vibes.
• Tap Social Time Better Spent – the ever popular juicy IPA 
• Tap Social Jobsworth – Light, crisp and fruity session ale
• Tap Social Fresh Start – Crisp, refreshing alcohol free lager

Non Bier options:

• A range of red, white and rosé wines
• Prosecco
• Peach Schnapps
• A large choice of soft drinks 

Music & Entertainment

The Brass Follies Oompah Band – 2.00pm

Setting the scene for Oktoberfest, the brilliant Brass Follies will be opening our event with lively, fun traditional oompah. 

Ducklington Morris Dancers – 2.30pm

This mixed-sex Morris dancing side is from the nearby village of Ducklington, in West Oxfordshire. Ducklington has its own village tradition of Morris dancing but the original Ducklington side died out around about the turn of the twentieth century, and the current side was revived in the early nineteen-eighties. The style of dances is based on the interpretation of the Ducklington tradition.

The Brass Follies Oompah Band – 3.00pm

Bringing back the Bavarian, the Brass Follies will be back at 3.00pm for another set of brilliant traditional oompah music to accompany your stein of beer and German style food!

Kaimana – 4.00pm

Kaimana is a fantastic acoustic duo who will fill the Bierkeller with uplifting cover music.

Wildflower Whisky – 5.00pm

Wildflower Whiskey will enchant you with country classics, modern country hits and soulful harmonies.

Scott Gordon Band – 6.00pm

We’re upping the tempo at 6.00pm with Scott Gordon and his stompin’, slidin’, pickin’ blues and country roots infused with Ulster Americana.

Roughcut Ruby – 7.15pm

End the night with a Cogges favourite, Roughcut Ruby play a brilliant mix of party covers that will leave you feeling euphoric from Oktoberfest at Cogges.

Ticket prices:

Adults – £16.00
Includes half a Stein of Beer (1 pint) or a glass of wine or two soft drinks, entry to the Bierkeller barns, use of a Stein glass, live music and entertainment. 

Children – £10.00

Food and drink will be charged separately.
