The ‘Unmissable’ Dior Designer of Dreams exhibition is now open at the V&A Museum in London. This biggest fashion exhibition at the V&A since Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty in 2015, this major retrospective offers an extended biography on Christian Dior. It uncovers his personal love of England and traces the history, and impact, of one of the 20th century’s most influential couturiers from 1947 to the present day. The exhibition – a cleverly edited version of 2017’s 70th anniversary Paris exhibition – is on until Sunday, 14 July 2019. Our Instagram Edit will bring you highlights and features you cannot afford to miss – with regular updates over the exhibition period.
Each of Dior’s Creative Directors interpreted ideas of world travel in their own unique way. John Galliano’s Principessa Eleonora ensemble borrows the textiles and wrap-around pleated form of a traditional Han Chinese qun skirt.
An extra glamorous scene straight from the new exhibition by Susan Tang – lover of nature, landscapes, art, and design.

You can enjoy the beauty, but you can also reflect on time, and how fashion reflects time and women and the cultural moment…
How much do you know about the 72-year-old house with which Christian Dior first fired the world’s imagination in 1947?…
Breathtaking – sequins, crystals, velvet, pleats and feathers.
The red coat! Does anyone know what it’s called…
Just beautiful.
Dior, designer of gorgeousness.
Remember Charlize Theron wearing these…for the J’adore ads.
A highlight of the Dior exhibition at the V&A museum is “Dior’s ball”. The lighting, music, and background and ceiling images change from time to time.
