Estelle Bailey, Chief Executive of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust (BBOWT), has been awarded an MBE in the King’s Birthday Honours for her services to nature recovery. With a 25-year career in The Wildlife Trusts and 11 years at BBOWT’s helm, she has led transformative projects, expanded nature reserves, and championed community-focused conservation.

Scouting is thriving in Oxfordshire, with a 6.39% rise in youth participation from 2023 to 2025. The Scouts (ages 10–14) grew by 3.63%, while Explorers (ages 14–18) increased by 15.89%.
