About Adwell Vintage Vehicle Show

Set within the private parkland of Adwell House, the Adwell Vintage Vehicle Show returns as a highlight of the summer calendar, bringing together an impressive celebration of motoring heritage, family entertainment, and countryside charm.

Taking place in the sweeping gardens and grounds rarely open to the public, this much-loved event offers visitors the chance to explore a stunning collection of classic and contemporary vehicles, alongside live entertainment, food, and hands-on attractions for all ages.

From Formula 1 engineering to vintage charm, the show blends nostalgia with spectacle in one of Oxfordshire’s most picturesque settings.


What’s on

There’s an extraordinary mix of engineering icons, family-friendly entertainment, live music, and countryside charm at the Adwell Vintage Vehicle Show, offering a full day of discovery and enjoyment set within the beautiful parkland of Adwell House.

  • Formula 1 Car Display: See the Jordan EJ12 up close – a beautifully engineered machine offering outstanding photo opportunities.
  • Moving Show Ring: A new 2026 feature where standout machines are driven across the showground, with live owner interviews hosted by compere Richard John Neil of ITV Sport, giving insight into the stories behind the vehicles.
  • Vintage Machines Display: A rich collection of classic cars, motorbikes, bicycles, tractors, caravans and commercial vehicles set around the lakes and parkland.
  • Historic Gardens: Explore the sweeping private gardens, open only a few times a year, blending landscaped beauty with motoring heritage.
  • Automotive Shopping & Autojumble: A dedicated retail area for automotive enthusiasts, including specialist traders and a new autojumble for rare finds and parts.
  • Live Music: Performances throughout the day from the Watlington Concert Band, the Bicester Heritage Saxologists, and additional sax ensembles.
  • Dog Show: A lively and much-loved parkland dog show featuring a range of classes and local entrants.
  • Family Activities: Tank rides across the grounds, traditional fairground games, and hands-on attractions for all ages.
  • Food & Drink: A selection of local food stalls, plus a bar and Pimms tent for a relaxed summer atmosphere.

Charity partner

This year’s event supports Getting Court, a preventative social programme offering young people insight into the criminal justice system through guided visits to courts and prisons across Oxfordshire. Set up over a decade ago, they work with most of the secondary schools in Oxfordshire.

Booking information

  • Tickets can be pre-booked on the link above or bought on the gate with either cash or card
  • £10 for exhibitors (per car with driver and one passenger)
  • £10 for visitors (per person) children under 12 go free.
  • Visitors are welcome from 11am when the public gates open.
  • Exhibitors are asked to arrive from 8.30am and park up before 10.30am.
  • The show closes around 5.00pm.
