About An Evening With Johns’ Boys Welsh Male Voice Choir

Join Johns’ Boys Welsh Male Voice Choir as they bring their 10th Anniversary Tour to Oxford, celebrating a decade of extraordinary music-making in one of England’s most historic cultural cities.

Known for their thrilling sound and emotional depth, the choir offers a powerful blend of Welsh choral tradition and contemporary artistry that feels perfectly at home on Oxford’s distinguished concert stages.

Formed in North Wales, Johns’ Boys have risen to international prominence, making history in 2019 as the first British Male Voice Choir to win the prestigious ‘Choir of the World’ title at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod. This landmark achievement marked the beginning of a remarkable chapter that has seen the choir perform for millions worldwide.

Audiences may recognise them from standout appearances on Britain’s Got Talent, The Royal Variety Performance, The Last Night of the Proms, and the Netflix series Stay Close. Praised by Simon Cowell as “a brilliant choir,” Johns’ Boys are admired for their precision, warmth and ability to connect deeply with audiences of all ages.
