The Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials 2023 is a must for any eventing enthusiast.
It’s four days of eventing action, including Dressage, Cross Country and Showjumping, all taking place in the breathtaking grounds of one of Britain’s most beautiful and historic venues – Blenheim Palace, home of the Duke of Marlborough.
With the palace as the backdrop to the superb sport, the competition is now firmly established in the eventing calendar, attracting the world’s best riders and thousands of spectators who return each year to watch the four-day event.
The start of the competition is on a Wednesday afternoon, with the first official horse inspection in front of the Ground Jury and the Veterinary Delegate. This is followed by dressage, cross-country, and show jumping over the following four days.
This year, the event will be run by the experienced team behind many of your favourite countryside shows and promises to be an unforgettable and exciting equestrian experience and great family day out.
Competitors from around the globe will come together to battle it out for top honours, and with the Paris Olympics around the corner in 2024, many horse and rider combinations will be using the competition as part of their preparation.
There is much to do on all days in addition to the showcase eventing classes. As well as all the action, there’s great tradestands, exhibitor displays, shopping, thrilling arena attractions, an array of delicious food and drink, lots of children’s entertainment – and, of course, top-class equestrian sport.
There are a range of tickets available for the event – please see the ticket information page for more details and prices.
You can purchase tickets on the day, but they will be more expensive than tickets bought online in advance. Tickets can only be purchased using a credit or debit card on the day.
Children 12 years of age and under can enter the event for free when accompanied by an adult. But if you are purchasing seating, you will also need to purchase seating for all children. Tickets can be booked in advance via the online box office.
