Come and meet Santa at Oxford Castle and Prison.
Santa has stepped away from his busy workshop to meet you at Oxford Castle & Prison! Make some magical reindeer food, create your own Christmas decoration, and meet the big man himself. And there’s a little something for the grown-ups too.
On arrival, you’ll be greeted by one of Santa’s Castle elves before being taken into the base of St. Georges Tower, home to over 1,000 years of history.
You will then be taken to our 900-year-old Norman crypt, where another of Santa’s elves will talk you through how to make wildlife-friendly reindeer food that you can take away with you, ready for the big day itself.
Afterwards, take a walk through the old Victorian Prison wing where you can make your very own Christmas Tree bauble, and for the adults, you’ll get to try a sample of mead.
Then it is time to meet the big man himself, and each family gets to spend some time with Santa, who will give out a pre-Christmas present. One of the elves will capture a festive photo, which will be available to purchase afterwards.
At the end of the trail, you will have some time to write a wish and hang it on our very own wish tree.
Enjoy some treats as you walk around meeting the elves and Santa.
