About Death Café

We all share the knowledge that one day we shall die:

Death Cafes, supported by experienced facilitators, offer a safe place for people of all ages and beliefs (or none) to come together and share open, relaxed conversations around death and dying over tea and cake.

Far from being awkward or morbid, these discussions are informative, open, friendly and supportive. There can even be humour, as people begin to make connections, ask questions and find relief in talking openly with others who share similar thoughts, fears or experiences.

It’s FREE, but please turn up a few minutes early so we can start promptly; these meetings can by their very nature be fairly intimate and we ask you not to arrive late or leave early if you possibly can.

Cafe facilities are closed on Mondays, so you’re welcome to bring your own drinks. Biscuits are provided and a small donation is gratefully accepted.
