About Edy Hurst’s Wonderfull Discoverie of Witches in the Countie of Himself

Grab your broom sticks and join Edy Hurst (‘Bursts with Comedic Energy’ – The Skinny) on a wyrd and wonderfull journey of self-discoverie through the realms of the Lancashire Witch Trials, the Vengaboys and nothing else.

Startling revelations about Edy’s ancestry have led him upon a pathway to convene with powers beyond our world, and now Edy must attempt to harness the power of his ancestors to navigate modern society. But around every corner there seems to lurk a darkness, the siren call of the Vengaboys, what’s all that about?

Combining comedy, clowning, live music and a giant cauldron, Edy Hurst’s Wonderfull Discoverie of Witches in the Countie of Himself is a new magical and mystical comedy theatre show that offers a humorous, heartfelt and unique insight into the shifting and sometimes mysterious world of late-stage ADHD diagnosis.

Commissioned as part of The Lowry’s ‘Developed With’ Programme and supported by Arts Council England.
