About Family Dance Party in Summertown

Dancin’ Oxford, Body Politic, and The North Wall are joining forces to bring you a special Family Dance Party for Valentine’s Day!

Join in for a ‘hip-hopping, toe-tapping’ daytime disco for all of the family. Featuring bubbles and balloons, movement activities and dance games, sensory play and face painting! With DJs playing party classics for you and your little ones.

Put on your dancing shoes, bring your little ones, and prepare to have the best disco ever!

Ticket prices:

Family Dance Party operates on a pay-what-you-feel basis – please select your tickets (one per person in your group) at the price that feels right for you.

Dates & times:

Saturday 14 February 2026 at 10.30am and 1.00pm

  • 10.30am to 12.00pm – Disco 1
  • 12.00pm to 1.00pm – Stay & Play (unstructured free play time for families)
  • 1.00pm to 2.30pm – Disco 2

Age guidance:

0 to 5

Good to know:

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. 

Baby change facilities, squash and water are available at all venues.


About The North Wall Arts Centre

The North Wall Arts Centre is an an award-winning theatre, gallery and performing arts centre located in Summertown, North Oxford. The facility was opened in 2007, and offers a fully flexible 200-seat theatre, a public art gallery, as well as studios for dance and drama.

The centre is owned by St Edward’s School and shared with the city, and it was created for the benefit of emerging artists across a range of disciplines. The programme of events at The North Wall places emphasis on new and innovative work.
