Follow the Stars – Macmillan Carols is a magnificent annual Christmas fundraiser that will take place in the splendour of Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford, on Friday, 08 December 2023, at 8.00pm.

Join Greg Wise, Jason Isaacs, Mel Giedroyc, and Toby Jones* for the 27th service at Christ Church Cathedral.

Kick off your Christmas season with a very special evening of favourite carols, seasonal choral music, and literary readings, including a special carol composed especially for you by John Rutter, the nation’s favourite choral composer.

Highlights will include favourite carols and spine-tingling solos brought to you from the world-class voices of the Oxford Bach Soloists.

This will be intermingled with the exceptional music and celebrities bringing you festive cheer with their performances of Christmas readings – funny, poignant, a little unusual and even surprising, but all uplifting.

We recommend early booking for this popular concert.

Getting there:

Parking
Parking is not available at Christ Church Cathedral except with special permission and by prior arrangement. If you are a Blue Badge holder and require parking at the Cathedral, kindly contact followthestars@macmillan.org.uk

Public Car Parks
The nearest public car park is Oxpens (Oxpens Road, Oxford OX1 1RQ), which is within five minutes walking distance of Christ Church Cathedral.

Park and Ride
We recommend using Oxford City Council’s Park & Ride services to travel to Christ Church Cathedral. Buses returning from the city centre to the 4 Park & Ride sites run until 11.30pm.
