About Japfest 2026
A spectacular spring day out is heading to Silverstone on Sunday 19 April as Japfest- Europe’s biggest Japanese car show celebrates its 10th anniversary with an action-packed event for all ages.
Attracting more than 25,000 visitors each year, Japfest transforms the famous F1 circuit into a vibrant festival of cars, colour and live entertainment.
While it’s a must-visit for car enthusiasts, organisers have made sure the event’s wide appeal makes it just as enjoyable for families and first-time visitors, making locals the envy of fans travelling from across the world to attend.
There’s plenty of jaw-dropping action from the comfort of your grandstand seat, with high-octane live displays and demos across the day.
One of the biggest highlights is the live drifting display, where the UK’s most skilled drivers test their talent and cars to the limit in a spectacular competition of precision and power, before headliner and fan favourite Steve ‘Baggsy’ Biagioni, tears up the circuit with tyre-shredding runs, outrageous car control, and a masterclass in sideways style.

With unique driving opportunities on the famous Silverstone F1 circuit, any secret Lewis Hamiltons in the family will thrill at the chance to buckle up and ride shotgun in a dedicated ‘Drift Taxi’, experiencing first-hand the thrills and skills of sideways speed.
Away from the track, explore thousands of eye-catching cars on display, from colourful custom builds to rare and classic models, including ‘The Great Unveiling’ of carefully-guarded new builds.
With friendly club stands and demonstrators, a huge retail village, plus plenty of food, drink and relaxation areas, Silverstone’s excellent access and facilities ensure a comfortable visit, whatever the weather.
