Golden Gala is a vibrant celebration marking 50 years of dance, creativity, and performance at SDSD. Founded by Susan Diane, whose passion and vision established a thriving foundation for the performing arts, the school has grown from strength to strength.
Today, under the direction of principal Maria Payne, SDSD continues to inspire generations of performers, nurturing talent, confidence, and a love for the stage.
This special anniversary production invites you to take a journey through time, revisiting some of the most memorable and beloved numbers from past shows.
Carefully selected favourites return to the spotlight, rekindling cherished memories for those who have been part of the SDSD story, while introducing new audiences to the magic that has defined the school for five decades. Alongside these classic pieces, a selection of new performances adds a fresh and exciting energy to the programme.
Blending singing, acting, and dance, Golden Gala showcases the incredible versatility and dedication of SDSD performers.
From the youngest rising stars to our experienced senior students, each performer brings enthusiasm, commitment, and joy to the stage. The result is a dynamic and heartfelt production that truly celebrates the spirit of SDSD.
