About Silent Disco by Silent Social

Silent Social aims to deliver the best Silent Disco you have ever been to. Whether it is the first time you have experienced this silent phenomenon or you’re an old pro, you’ll definitely enjoy it.

Silent Disco is a revolution in entertainment. It uses a wireless headphone system to deliver the musical stylings of DJs across two channels allowing party lovers to flick between their favourite tunes, making their Silent Social experience truly original. You can expect endless dancing, fist-pumping, floor stomping and bad singing.

Silent Social was established in 2010 following a decision to mix their vast event experience and talented DJs with the Silent Disco concept. Since making that decision, they have entertained thousands at Festivals, Universities, Club Nights and Brand Activation events.

They perform all over the UK and further afield with events across Europe, Asia and America. Events and clients include T in the Park, Latitude, Boardmasters, V Festival, Lucozade, Vodafone, and Nike.

About O2 Academy Oxford

The Edwardian building on Cowley Road has been hosting live music for decades. But prior to being a music venue, it was a Cooperative party hall. It was originally known as The Venue and then the much-respected Zodiac, both of which paved the way for O2 Academy Oxford, which officially launched in September 2007, with performances from New Young Pony Club, The Magic Numbers and Young Knives.

Since then, the O2 Academy Oxford has established itself as one of the city’s greatest venues for live music and club nights, with some of the best gigs to date coming from Ed Sheeran, Foals, Stereophonics, Ozzy Osbourne, Babyshambles, Hozier and Royal Blood. Visit the venue information page for further details, including opening times, getting there, age restrictions and more.
