About Stars at Stowe Stargazing
Returning by overwhelming demand, the event invites guests to embark on a mesmerising journey through the cosmos beneath a breathtaking starlit canopy.
In collaboration with UK Astronomy, participants will have the rare opportunity to explore the mysteries of the solar system and its celestial wonders, set against the enchanting backdrop of Stowe.
The evening begins with a captivating talk delving into the fascinating stories and secrets of the planets that have intrigued humanity for centuries, setting the tone for an unforgettable night of stargazing.
As twilight falls, guests will move outdoors to the South Front, where telescopes will be shared among the group. Guided by expert astronomers from UK Astronomy, attendees will navigate the vast night sky, tracking distant planets and constellations while deepening their understanding of the universe.
Participants are encouraged to engage with the astronomers throughout the evening, asking questions and expanding their cosmic knowledge as they experience the wonder of the night sky together.
