About Stories of Oxford tours: This Talented Town

A mixture of Oxford city specialties, this guided museum tour will highlight the achievements of some of the extraordinary people from this spectacular town.

Guides will take you on their personalised highlights tour around the Museum, lasting 30 to 45 minutes with time for questions at the end. Meet in the Museum of Oxford’s Gift Shop, inside the Oxford Town Hall.

Stories of Oxford Tours take place at least twice a month. Each tour has a capacity of 10 people. The tours are recommended for adults and children aged 12+.

Access 

There is step-free, level entry access to the Town Hall via the entrance closest to Carfax Tower (to the left of the main steps as you face the Town Hall). Inside the Museum, Museum Makers is accessible via a platform lift to the Galleries and then a lift to the basement.

Tickets cost £4.00 per person and can be purchased online or at the Museum Shop.

Tickets for this event also include access to the Galleries.
