About Yale Concert Band – ON TOUR!
Join the Yale Concert Band for an evening of impactful music featuring a diverse program that spans genres, eras, and global influences. It’s a concert you don’t want to miss!
Under the leadership of Dr. Thomas C. Duffy, renowned conductor, composer, and educator, the Yale Concert Band upholds its legacy of excellence, innovation, and cultural dialogue through music.
The Concert Band, known for its adventurous spirit, innovative programming, and exceptional musicianship, is Yale University’s premier wind ensemble, comprised of over sixty wind, brass, and percussion students primarily from Yale’s undergraduate population.
The band has gained national and international acclaim for its performances, including historical recreations, collaborations with notable figures, and premieres of significant works.
In typical fashion, this exciting tour program features a repertoire that balances tradition and innovation, combining energetic fanfares, historical and philosophical reflections, and collaborations to create a bold and engaging experience.
