About this project.
A large open plan kitchen extension is a dream for many. But planning and designing the space and its look can be daunting. Interior designers Flippa Interiors used grey as our main paint colour but teamed it with Farrow & Ball’s Charlotte’s Locks orange to add a shot of colour. With clever zoning, areas for dining, informal eating and chilling out were created. Vintage industrial styled accessories gave the space character and worked well within a modern house.

A vintage style drinks cabinet sits close to the dining table and makes mixing drinks fun for all.

The zoned seating area in the kitchen provides plenty of space for relaxing, chatting or just chilling out. With views to the garden and adjacent to the cooking area this is a relaxing yet sociable spot.
