About Applegarth Nurseries
Set up in its current form 22 years ago, Applegarth Nurseries now sells a complete range of garden centre stock with an emphasis on plants. They carry a wide range of top quality nursery stock, much of which locally grown. They also stock a good range of composts, pots, tools and growing essentials.
Nursery Products
They stock an excellent range of plants many grown by ourselves, expert help always available. They have a large outdoor sales area of plants that is well stocked all year round with an especially good selection of herbaceous plants, vegetable plants, fruit trees and bushes, and summer baskets. They also have a large range of patio plants like Geraniums, Fuchsias and choice annuals, many grown by themselves.
Growing & Plant Care
If you want to grow your own, they stock a comprehensive range of vegetable seeds, flower seeds, herbs, salad crops and wildflowers. Their suppliers include well-known seed specialists like Kings Seeds, Suttons, Johnsons and Seeds of Italy. Peas and beans are available in bulk bags or sold loose at very competitive rates. They carry many varieties recommended by the National Institute of Agricultural Botany. The shop is well stocked with fertilizers, composts, pots, seed trays, and a range of products for plant protection and pest control.
Discount rates for bulk items
They can source and supply plants for all planting schemes, with trade discount available. And for large gardens and landscapers, they can supply and deliver a range of bulk products. Topsoil, mulch, soil conditioner and vegetable compost are available in 1-tonne bags. Turf is stocked during the spring, and they can arrange a supply throughout the year.

From 9.00am to 5.45pm every day, including Sundays.
(9.00am to 4.45pm in winter).
