About Banbury Farmer’s Market

Banbury Farmer’s Market takes place on the first Friday of every month from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.

This popular, friendly North Oxfordshire farmers’ market features plenty of fresh, quality produce including varieties of meat, fish and cheeses, delicious seasonal fruit and vegetables, as well as locally sourced pies, bread, cakes, plants and flowers. It also provides an opportunity to meet some of your local farmers and growers.

The market is operated by Cherwell District Council.

You’ll find date and details for upcoming market days here.

Good to know

The farmer’s market is held on the same site as the Banbury Charter Market.

The Charter Market has been trading for several centuries since the town was established back in the 17th Century. Today it hosts approximately 30 stalls offering a range of products, including fruit and vegetables, clothing, footwear, tools, cards and garden plants.

The Royal Charter Market, also operated by Cherwell District Council, runs on Thursdays and Saturdays. There are additional antiques’ stalls on the second and fourth Thursday of each month.
