Garden Hardy Plants
Whether it’s a new border or just filling in gaps, you will find what you are looking for in the plant area stocked with healthy plants for all year round inspiration. You can get deciduous or evergreen climbers that will climb and spread. Shrubs come in various shapes and sizes and cater for any size garden or patio pots. Bare root stock of roses arrive end of November, and these are potted ready to sell. There’s a good range of herbaceous perennial plants (cottage garden) which work well in any border and will give you many months of colour. And you’ll find that they have a good selection from apples to berries, rhubarb to strawberries.
Seasonal Plants
You can be sure that their summer and winter bedding plants are healthy and will give you plenty of months of colour. There’s a good range and quality of summer basket too. Regular deliveries of popular herbs start to arrive in March and continue through to summer. These are ideal for window boxes and containers or simply planting in the garden. There are vegetable plants if you want to create your own fresh, tasty garden. And they have a small section of house plants, with a larger selection for Mother’s Day and Christmas.
Seeds & Bulbs
The centre stocks a range of flower & vegetable seeds giving you a wonderful choice. The flower seeds range from traditional garden flowers to a wildflower selection. Many of these will simply need sprinkling in the garden to germinate. Their vegetable seeds are suitable for any garden size and range from the most popular varieties to a few unusual varieties. August sees the arrival of spring-flowering bulbs. These will need planting in early autumn to give your garden some wonderful colour in spring. These also look good in outdoor garden pots or window boxes.
Garden Care
You will find the garden centre has all you’ll need for your garden. Their shelves are filled with the latest feed, fertilisers and weed killers to cure your gardening problem and keep them looking their best. You will find a comprehensive range of compost, decorative grits and gravels, with some fantastic multi-buy offers. You’ll also find a range of gardening tools and equipment that will help you tackle any task in your garden.
Garden furtniture and accessosries
You will find a comprehensive range of glazed, terracotta and plastic pots, along with stone birdbaths, sundials and statues. You’ll also find a lovely selection of garden furniture, water features along with arbours and arches that will suit any garden.
