About Montezuma’s
Montezuma’s began in 2000 with little more than a kitchen sink-sized machine, boundless enthusiasm, a healthy dose of naivety, and, most importantly, a bold vision: to introduce chocolate innovation to a traditionally unadventurous British market.
Since then, the brand has shared its delicious and ethical chocolate with hundreds of thousands of customers across the UK and around the world. Montezuma’s remains proud to keep its factory free from palm oil, additives, and anything artificial, ensuring that every bar contains only the finest ingredients.
Its commitment to ethical sourcing means all ingredients meet the highest standards, certified by Rainforest Alliance, UTZ, Soil Association, and Cocoa Horizons.
Oxford, home to the oldest university in the English-speaking world at 925 years old, also boasts numerous cultural highlights — from locations featured in the Harry Potter films to a museum housing the largest collection of extinct dodo specimens.
Located next to Carfax Tower, the city’s historic centre, Montezuma’s Oxford offers visitors the chance to explore its chocolate world while admiring the surrounding architecture. Carla and her dedicated team are on hand to welcome guests with a chocolate tasting experience.
