About Toad Hall Garden Centre
In 1952 Toby and Skit Stubbs embarked on a new adventure and followed their passion by purchasing a derelict and overgrown ‘walled garden’ outside Henley-On-Thames. They originally grew and sold vegetables before specialising in growing plants in 1960. And it is from this humble beginning that Toad Hall Garden Centre began to emerge.
Now into the third generation of the Stubbs family, Toad Hall Garden Centre has been running as a successful family business for over 60 years. The centre provides some of the best plants, garden products and specialist expert knowledge to a wide range of customers, from local gardeners through to country estates and golf courses.
Garden Centre
Due to its specialist knowledge and enthusiasm, the garden centre continues to develop and flourish. Much of this can be attributed to the enthusiastic, hardworking and loyal members of staff who continue to utilise their expertise to provide outstanding customer service year after year.
Garden Machinery
Toad Hall Garden Machinery is one of the largest in the South East with a large selection of mowers, hedge cutters, trimmers, vacuums & blowers, shredders, chainsaws and lots more. With over 30 years of experience, their garden machinery staff are in the best position to advise you on a new purchase or provide high quality, cost-efficient and timely service or repair.
Pet Products
Whether you keep a dog, cat, budgie or rabbit, your pets are part of your family, and you’ll want the very best for them. At the Henley on Thames garden centre, you’ll find all you need to keep your pet happy and healthy. The centre stocks a host of products for pets – from bedding and food to health products and pet toys and entertainment.
Coffee Shop
The Willows Coffee Shop is one of the many reasons to linger a little longer at Toad Hall. Recent renovations have proved highly popular with customers, and it is fast becoming a popular place to meet or stop while shopping. Located within the heart of the garden centre amidst the stunning houseplants, the coffee shop provides a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere.
Farm Shop
Complete your shopping experience at Toad Hall with a visit to the farm shop. The farm shop is a treasure trove of locally sourced produce guaranteed to delight. The shop stocks a range of delicious cheese, charcuterie, seasonal fresh fruit & vegetable, relish, chutneys, crackers and a selection of baked temptations. In addition, if you fancy baking, they also have a range of flour and cupboard staples, plus your everyday essentials such as eggs, milk, bread and butter.
