Bidwells has appointed Jamie Renison as Head of New Business for its Commercial Agency team in Oxford, reinforcing the firm’s position in the science and technology market across the Oxford–Cambridge Growth Corridor.
Jamie joins from Cushman & Wakefield, where he led the Science & Technology team across the Golden Triangle. With more than 25 years’ experience, he has advised on over 4 million sq ft of transactions, secured 1 million sq ft of pre-lets, and transacted more than 600 acres of land.
His portfolio includes some of the UK’s most significant science and innovation developments, including The Oxford Science Park, Breakthrough Properties’ Vitrum in Cambridge, and Kadans and Canary Wharf Group’s One North Quay.
At Bidwells, Jamie will work closely with Duncan May, Partner in Business Space Agency, and the wider commercial agency team, focusing on driving complex, long-term projects that support the growth of the UK’s science and technology ecosystem.
Dick Wise, Head of Commercial Agency at Bidwells, said:
“Jamie’s experience strengthens one of our key growth areas. His deep understanding of the Oxford and South East markets will build on our strength as leading agents across the Golden Triangle.”
Jamie Renison added:
“Oxfordshire’s growth story is only just beginning. Ranked second only to London for GVA per worker, its strength lies in the breadth and depth of its science and technology base.
“Bidwells has been a leader in this sector for more than five decades, and I am excited to join a partnership where science and innovation form part of its DNA.”
