Frilford Heath Golf Club, one of Oxfordshire’s most prestigious sporting venues, has been recognised among the very best in global golf, joining 59club’s Eminent Collection at a prestigious international awards ceremony.
The honour places the club alongside world-famous resorts such as Gleneagles, The Grove, Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club, and Yas Links Abu Dhabi.
Located just eight miles from Oxford, Frilford Heath is a 54-hole championship golf estate that has become one of England’s favourite destinations for golf days, events, and meetings.

The recognition follows five years of dedicated work with customer service specialists 59club, during which the club has made a concerted effort to establish itself as a welcoming, family-friendly venue offering outstanding service and hospitality.
Russell Stebbings, Managing Director of Frilford Heath Golf Club, said:
“To be recognised by 59club as part of the Eminent Collection is a huge honour. This award is testament to the dedication of our team, whose passion for delivering exceptional service and hospitality is at the heart of everything we do. We are proud to be considered among the very best clubs in the world.”
The award comes after Frilford Heath’s completion of a £1.5 million investment programme. Significant enhancements across its three championship courses and a major clubhouse transformation have created an environment that balances modern business needs with relaxed leisure comforts.
Members and guests can now make use of a bespoke 18-seat boardroom, flexible workspaces, and an upgraded dining experience, further elevating the club’s reputation as both a sporting and social destination.
59club, a leading authority in measuring and rewarding customer service across the golf, leisure, and hospitality industries, established the Eminent Collection to recognise only those clubs and resorts that have achieved sustained excellence for at least five consecutive years.
By achieving this milestone, Frilford Heath has cemented its place as not just a premier sporting venue in Oxfordshire, but also as one of the world leaders in hospitality and service in the global golf industry.
