Residents, community groups and local business leaders are invited to attend the autumn Didcot Garden Town Community Update Meeting later this month to hear about future plans for the town and surrounding areas.
The event will take place on Wednesday 30 September, from 5.00pm to 7.30pm, at Harwell Village Hall, and is open to everyone.
Representatives from South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Councils will provide updates on the latest projects from the Didcot Garden Town team, including:
- New wayfinding signs and plans for public art
- The Broadway housing development project
- Heat recovery
- Heatwave resilience support from the Climate Team
- Updates on leisure infrastructure projects across the two districts
Representatives from other organisations supporting the Didcot Garden Town programme will also attend, including National Grid and Didcot Powerhouse.
