About OnSalsa

OnSalsa is the home of Salsa in North Oxford, where Rosa and Giles provide dance classes, workshops, and private sessions for all levels.

Rosa and Giles are the founders and they both have a background in classical ballet, modern jazz and tap dance.

They started dancing Salsa in 1999 and complemented their dance training in the USA with the Rumberos Dance Company, the King of Salsa – Mr Eddie Torres, to name a few and in Cuba with the Narcisso Medina Dance Company.

Together, they have established themselves as Salsa Teachers and Performers in the UK and abroad, where they achieved significant successes.

Dance school

The dance school is based in Summertown Church Hall, Portland Road, Oxford OX2 7EZ and is open every Tuesday evening from 7.30pm until 10.00pm. You can book your classes/courses in advance on the OnSalsa website or turn up on the day.

Monthly workshops

Monthly workshops and events take place at the Oxford Golf Club, Hill Top Road, OX4 1PF. These are usually every 2nd Friday of each month and tickets can be bought in advance too. Other workshops are also available and are listed on the OnSalsa website.
