About The Cherwell Singers

The Cherwell Singers are an Oxford-based, mixed-voice chamber choir founded in 1977.

They sing all types of music from the late Middle Ages to the present day – including mainstays of the choral repertoire and lesser-known, even obscure, works.

The group places a high value on musicianship, aiming to perform to a consistently high standard.

They give three public concerts annually in central Oxford and perform at private functions, including conferences and weddings.
