Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (OUH) is one of the largest and most prestigious NHS teaching trusts in the UK. It provides a wide range of clinical services, education, and research in partnership with the University of Oxford.
OUH comprises four main hospitals:
- John Radcliffe Hospital (Oxford): The largest hospital in the trust, it houses the Oxford Children’s Hospital, Eye Hospital, Heart Centre, Women’s Centre, and the West Wing. It also serves as the Major Trauma Centre for the Thames Valley region.
- Churchill Hospital (Oxford): Specializes in cancer care, renal services, and transplant surgery.
- Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre (Oxford): Renowned for orthopaedics, rheumatology, and rehabilitation services.
- Horton General Hospital (Banbury): Provides general hospital services to the north of Oxfordshire.
Additionally, OUH offers services in several community hospitals across Oxfordshire, including those in Thame, Wallingford, Wantage, and Witney.
