About Ferry Leisure Centre Oxford

We’ve got some fantastic facilities on offer to stay fit and active in the heart Summertown, Oxford. Including swimming, an excellent gym & fitness equipment, indoor courts, squash, basketball, café and an extensive programme of group exercise classes such as yoga, pilates and HIIT.

The centre is brought to you by Oxford City Council, in partnership with Fusion, highly experienced sports and leisure organisation. As a registered charity, Fusion reinvests to improve and develop what´s on offer in your community.

We’ve got some fantastic facilities on offer – swimming, gym, fitness studios, basketball, badminton, squash and café with a range of drinks and snacks available.

Swimming Pools

Make a splash in one of our two swimming pools; the main pool (25 metres) that has 6 lanes and a teaching pool which accommodates all our swimming courses and one-to-one swimming sessions. The teaching pool is also a great place for children or non-swimmers to experience all the fun of being in the water.

Gym

The newly refurbished gym has over 70 stations with a variety of resistance and cardiovascular machines. It also has a free weights section as well as a spacious functional floor area. The gym is relaxed and welcoming with friendly and qualified fitness instructors on hand. Personal training is also available.

Studio

Our studio has a sprung floor and hosts an array of exercise classes from high intensity to holistic mind and body. There are so many exercise classes on offer (over 60 classes per week) that you will be spoilt for choice.

Sports

Our sports facilities offer badminton, squash, volleyball, basketball and 5-a-side football plus indoor cycling. Take your pick. The sports hall and courts are available to hire for sports and racquets games and non-sporting events.

Monday to Friday from 6.00am to 10.00pm
Saturday from 7.00am to 8.00pm
Sunday from 8.30am to 8.30pm
