About Henley-on-Thames Town Hall
Henley’s historic Town Hall is a beautiful venue for wedding’s, parties, meetings and conferences. The large hall makes for an excellent space for 200 people while the Council Chamber and Committee Room are used for smaller events.
The Town Council also has other rooms available for small meetings or break-outs at The Old Fire Station Gallery and Kings Arms Barn.
Henley-on-Thames Town Hall located in Market Place, close to the two main car parks, is an ideal town centre venue for a civil ceremony. Standing out from the surrounding buildings this imposing Grade 2* Listed Building was opened in 1901.
Four rooms are available according to the size of your ceremony. The impressive main Council Chamber can accommodate 60 guests. It is panelled in oak from floor to ceiling and features a fine fireplace and brass chandeliers.
A grand marble staircase rises from both sides of a landing, enhanced by imposing stained glass windows, which leads to the rectangular large Main Hall on the second floor. This room has an ornate and decorative round-arched ceiling and can accommodate up to 210 guests for a reception or ceremony.
