About Our Lady’s Abingdon School

Our Lady’s Abingdon School (OLA) is a Catholic, co-educational independent day school in Abingdon-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, for pupils aged 7 to 18.

The school has a fun and innovative learning experience in a happy and friendly community. And with under 400 pupils in total, the school offers small class sizes and a very high teacher to pupil ratio.

OLA has a reputation for high academic achievement within a caring Christian environment, supporting the development of every pupil as an individual.

The Lower School, Senior School and Sixth Form are located on a single site, with adjacent sports playing field, within easy walking distance of Abingdon Town Centre. The school also provides transport for pupils, from locations across South Oxfordshire, making it easy to be part of our community.

Facilities at the school include a sports hall, auditorium, Library, latest in ICT equipment and a 25m indoor swimming pool.

The school has a Catholic Christian ethos, which is the foundation of everything they do – like creating the family community valued by OLA parents. The school does accept children of all faiths and none and helps pupils aspire to such values as integrity, compassion, openness, forgiveness, reconciliation, co-operation and courage.
