About Rupert House School

Rupert House Preparatory School offers a broad and balanced curriculum to boys and girls aged 3 to 11. Pupils are taught by well-qualified, dedicated and enthusiastic staff, supported by a comprehensive extra-curicular enrichment programme.

The school offers the best of a traditional education – academic strength, care, courtesy towards others – together with an expansive programme of sports, performing arts and extra-curricular activities.

We understand the pressures on modern families and gear our teaching to preparing our children for entry to the senior schools of their parents’ choice, whether they are moving on to independent or state schools. For those families who cannot commit to drop off and pick-up times at the beginning and end of the school day, we run breakfast and after school clubs. Our move into full co-education to age 11 means that parents can educate their sons and daughters together, further easing the pressures on family life.

Many visitors comment on our extensive outdoor space and our special, caring and vibrant atmosphere.
