About The National Bowl

The National Bowl is an open-air amphitheatre located in Milton Keynes.

It has been a legendary concert venue since 1979, hosting some of the biggest personalities in rock and pop music. With its iconic status, it continues to attract music lovers from all over the world.

Situated in the heart of Milton Keynes, it was once a brick pit that was remarkably transformed into a world-class entertainment venue. The development of the bowl began in 1971.

1973 saw the creation of a huge horse-shoe-shaped mound surrounding an area that could be utilised as an arena to host major public-attended events based on the idea of the Hollywood Bowl. The earthworks were completed in 1977.

Since 1979, The National Bowl has hosted some of the most prominent names in the music and entertainment industry, including Bon Jovi, Eminem, Green Day, Linkin Park, Oasis, Take That, Foo Fighters, Swedish House Mafia and Robbie Williams.
