The 1,000-seat capacity Olivier Hall is an award-winning purpose-built concert venue and part of a modern academic centre on the historic Quad at St Edward’s School in Oxford.

The stunning venue places a strong sense of community right at the heart of the school and enables the whole school community to come together for performances, concerts and countless other events.

The oval shape of the hall echoes Oxford’s Sheldonian Theatre, and its striking oak panelling creates high-quality acoustics in a beautiful theatrical space.

Getting there

By car
Please note that parking is difficult in Oxford, and there is no parking at St Edward’s School. Visitors travelling by car are encouraged to use the Park and Ride buses. The 300 bus from Pear Tree Park and Ride stops on Woodstock Road just outside St Edward’s School.

By bus
Several local buses connect various parts of the city and the surrounding towns and villages to the city centre. Please check the Stagecoach and Oxford Bus Company’s journey planners to find a route that serves your travel needs.

By coach
Oxford is also easy to reach from London by coach. The Oxford Tube runs frequent services from Victoria Station, and National Express buses depart from Marylebone. Both terminate at the Oxford Bus Station on Gloucester Green. The S2 or S3 Gold busses go to St Edward’s School from Gloucester Green Bus Station.

By train
There is a direct train service between London Marylebone and London Paddington to Oxford station. Oxford station has direct rail services from many locations, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Hereford, Worcester, Newcastle and York.
