The Plough is a family run business serving all types of of people with its casual dining in or out, plus the more formal stable restuarant with prices and quality hard to beat in Oxford.
We have run The Plough for 21 years and are one of the few independent pubs left in the area.
We offer a fine selection of ales, lagers and the old fashioned style of The Plough makes it a worthwhile visit whilst in Oxford.
We welcome all families and have disabled access and facilities. We can also cater for parties and funerals in our restaurant and library bar.
Functions at The Plough
We would be delighted to host your event here at the Plough and offer a comprehensive event service. Firstly, we have the option of two function rooms, The Library or The Restaurant. Secondly, we can provide either Buffet style dining or a more formal sit down style of dining.
Both options include waitress staff. Our functions service is ideal for all types of events from business meetings to Birthday Parties, also including, Christening and Funerals. We can also supply decorations, cakes and flowers as necessary to complement your event.
The Library can accommodate up to 42 for sit down dining and up to 50 for buffet-style dining. The Restaurant can accommodate up to 50 for sit down style dining and up to 70 for buffet-style dining. Both rooms can be used together to accommodate up to 120 people.
