8 Member Clubs – Everyone Welcome
Wallingford Sports Park occupies 26 acres on the outskirts of Wallingford. The site includes one of the best floodlit all-weather pitches in the South Oxfordshire District Council area.
The all-weather pitch can be hired by the public and is a useful source of revenue for the Sports Park. The Sports Park also has a large skittle hall, which is also available for hire.
The hall is a very popular venue for parties, children’s birthday parties, family celebrations and entertainment. There are also smaller rooms available for meetings, seminars, courses etc.
The Wallingford Sports Trust manages the Wallingford Sports Park for the benefit of its member clubs. The Sports Trust was founded over thirty years ago as a registered charity. All its trustees and the vast majority of its coaches are volunteers.
The member clubs each give an annual donation to the Trust to enable the Trust to maintain the facilities. The amount of the donation reflects the cost of running the sport concerned and a contribution to the upkeep of common facilities.

Club membership
The membership of the above clubs exceeds 2,500. A key element of the activities is to promote and develop youth sports. There are nearly 800 junior members actively engaged in sport, and at present, member clubs employ more than 60+ coaches, many of whom work with the youth sports sections.
Sports Bars 3 Bars – 6 Screens
The Sports Park boasts 3 fully licensed bars, all capable of showing live sports (open to the public) and serving a range of real ales and lagers, including regularly changing guest ale, wines, spirits, soft drinks, crisps and nuts.

The Sports Park offers a variety of facilities as follows:
Outdoor facilities
- 3 full-size football pitches
- 5 full-size rugby pitches
- All-weather Astro-turf pitch suitable for many sports, including hockey and 5/6/11 a-side football
- 5 all-weather tennis courts
- Petanque
- Archery range
Indoor facilities
- 3 squash courts – 1 Glass Back with spectator seating
- Skittles Alley
- Large hall suitable for large corporate conferences and birthday and wedding celebrations. Capacity for 120 to 140 people seated, 200 people overall.
- Small hall for smaller parties. Capacity for 30 and 50 people conference style.
- 2 rooms suitable for meetings
- 2 darts boards
All the facilities are available to hire, subject to availability.
The rooms are available to hire on a daily-, half-day-, or hourly-basis. Tea and coffee can be provided on arrival and mid-morning and afternoon breaks.
Hot and cold buffet-style meals can be provided, if required, with all dietary requirements catered for. All rooms have their own bar and wifi, TV, 6ft x 6ft projector screen can be provided as required.
