Located in a stunning woodland setting, the Wood Centre for Innovation offers a wide range of flexible workspaces to grow your business. From private offices and socially distanced coworking space in the Barclays Eagle Lab to specialist R&D facilities, laboratories and workshops, they have the perfect space available for your science or technology-focused business.
As well as a fantastic location in Headington’s Health and Life Sciences District, the Centre is one of Oxford’s most efficient buildings with natural heating and cooling systems. It also includes a range of indoor and outdoor meeting facilities, allocated car and cycle parking, and superfast broadband.
The centre offers more than just serviced offices.
The centre is owned by The Oxford Trust – an independent charitable trust that was established in 1985 by Oxford entrepreneurs Sir Martin and Audrey, Lady Wood, founders of Oxford Instruments. The Trust’s mission is to encourage the pursuit of science and enterprise.
Located in the heart of Oxford, the sister centre, the Oxford Centre for Innovation also offers affordable and flexible workspace solutions for start-up and early-stage businesses specialising in science and technology.
The centre is managed by Oxford Innovation, who started by creating Europe’s first innovation centre – and now manage a growing network of centres across the UK. Oxford Innovation is the largest operator of innovation centres in the UK, with 24 and growing. Oxford Innovation is also a leader of social and economic development. This offers the businesses that operate in each centre reassurance for longer-term security and a proven growth model to help them succeed.
