About Sobell House Hospice Winter Walk 2025
Oxfordshire’s much-loved Winter Walk is back at Blenheim Palace in Woodstock for 2025, take in the stunning palace scenery as you walk around the Queen’s Pool.
This year, you have the choice of two walking routes – 2.5 or 4.8 miles – which are both accessible for wheelchair and pushchair users. You can decide on the day which route you’d prefer to take.
Dogs are welcome to take part on a lead and there is free parking available.
On arrival, coffee and crêpe carts will be on offer to help fuel your walk. At 9.45am there will be a short Zumba warm-up session before setting off at 10.00am to music from Get Radio.
Hot food and refreshments will also be available once you’ve crossed the finish line. All walkers receive a medal for taking part, and your ticket gives you entry to the Blenheim Estate and Walled Garden for the day.
All money raised will go to Sobell House Hospice Charity. At any given time, Sobell House Hospice cares for around 650 people across Oxfordshire at home, in its inpatient unit, in the local hospitals, and through its Living Well service.

Children under 5 years – Free
If you would prefer to buy your tickets on the day, the organisers can accept cash or card, but please ensure you leave enough time to register and pay before the walk starts at 10.00am (gates open at 9.00am).
