About the OX5 RUN

Join Oxford Hospitals Charity on Sunday, 23 March 2025, for a fantastic five-mile fun run at the iconic Blenheim Palace.

This event supports the Oxford Children’s Hospital and other vital areas across the Trust that care for children, including the Emergency Departments, PICU, and the Horton and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre.

Participants can run, walk, or jog the beautiful five-mile course individually or as part of a team with friends, family, or colleagues. Children aged 10 and over are welcome to take part, with a fundraising goal of £250 or more to help make a real difference for young patients.

Last year’s event raised over £100,000, and with even more support, 2025 can be an even greater success.

Registration is £33 per adult (16+) and £20 per child (10-16), with an early bird discount available at £29 per adult and £16 per child for those who sign up early.

Join Oxford Hospitals Charity for a day of fun, fundraising, and making memories—all in support of Oxford Children’s Hospital.

About the Oxford Hospitals Charity

Oxford Hospitals Charity helps to transform care – funding the best medical equipment, research, training and facilities for our patients and staff.

Although they aren’t a huge charity, they have a massive impact – and that’s because they keep things local and work very closely with their clinical colleagues to understand how they can really make a difference.

From the small things, like providing quality reclining chairs for cancer patients having lengthy chemotherapy, to larger projects, such as funding computerised surgical equipment to help our talented surgeons with the most complicated operations, this is your local charity supporting your local hospitals.

Donations have also helped create the Cancer and Heart Centres in Oxford and the Brodey Cancer Centre at the Horton General, as well as the Oxford Children’s Hospital.
