About Cogges Annual Beer & Cider Festival

Cogges’ legendary Beer & Cider Festival returns on Saturday 08 August 2026.

Now rebranded as the Cogges Summer Festival, the event celebrates not only its impressive selection of craft beers and ciders but also the growing role of live music in making the festival one of the highlights of the Cotswolds’ summer calendar.

Visitors can look forward to rustic farmyard surroundings, more than 50 locally produced craft beers and ciders, delicious food, and a lively programme of entertainment.

This year’s festival also features the biggest live music lineup in its history, showcasing some of Oxfordshire’s best bands across multiple performances throughout the day.

The festival welcomes families from 12.00pm to 6.00pm, before becoming an adults-only event from 6.00pm to 10.00pm.

What’s on for 2026

The Golden Hour Chill Out Zone
Just Sophie Interiors will transform the Barley Barn into a stylish and relaxing space where visitors can unwind with friends and family throughout the day.

Summer Bar
For those who prefer something other than beer or cider, the Summer Bar will offer Pimm’s, wine, prosecco and a selection of soft drinks.

Xander’s Cocktail Bar
Festival-goers will also be able to enjoy an expanded drinks menu featuring spirits, cocktails, champagne and Aperol Spritz.

More Food Choices
The Barn Courtyard will become the Food Paddock, offering an even wider selection of food, including a picnic stand, snack stall and the popular Cogges BBQ, giving visitors plenty of choice throughout the festival.

More Evening Tickets
Following the early sell-out of evening tickets in 2025, organisers have introduced a revised ticketing system to make more evening-only tickets available, giving more people the opportunity to enjoy the festival after 6:00pm.

The Year of the Horse
As 2026 is the Year of the Horse, this year’s Cogges Summer Festival is dedicated to Toffee and Treacle, the attraction’s much-loved resident mother-and-son Shetland ponies. Visitors can expect plenty of horse-themed touches and activities throughout the event.
