Stowe House is welcoming its youngest visitors this autumn with the return of Stowe-Tots, a brand-new term of monthly toddler sessions designed to spark curiosity and delight.
Created especially for babies and toddlers, these sessions immerse families in the magic of history through interactive storytelling, sensory play, music, and themed activities. Each event offers a gentle, imaginative introduction to one of Britain’s most iconic country houses.
This term’s sessions promise plenty of fun with four playful themes:
- 29 September – Delightful Dinner Party
- 20 October – Spooky Spiders
- 24 November – Colours of Autumn
- 15 December – Christmas
Families can also take advantage of a special offer: book three sessions and receive the fourth free (£15.00 for four sessions, or £5.00 each individually).

“Stowe-Tots isn’t just about keeping little ones entertained,” says Amy Walsh, Learning and Community Officer at Stowe House. “It’s about creating magical moments, giving parents the chance to connect with each other, and letting children’s imaginations run wild.”
Located at the edge of Buckinghamshire, on the South Northants and West Oxfordshire border, Stowe House is easily reached from Milton Keynes, Bicester, Buckingham and beyond, with good transport links via the A422 and A43. Families will also find ample parking and family-friendly facilities to make their visit smooth and stress-free.
Booking early is strongly recommended, as spaces are limited and demand is high. Not only will families enjoy a morning of play and discovery, but every ticket also helps support the Stowe House Preservation Trust, which works to conserve and protect this remarkable historic landmark for future generations.
