Rising indie artist Tom A. Smith will bring his fast-growing UK headline tour to Oxford this spring, with a live show confirmed at The Bullingdon on Friday 10 April 2026.

The Oxford date forms part of a wider 12-date UK headline tour, announced following the release of Smith’s breakout EP Say What You Want on Fiction Records. The tour kicks off at Glasgow’s King Tut’s on 26 March and takes in key cities including Manchester, Leeds, London and Birmingham, marking Smith’s biggest run of headline shows to date.

Hotly tipped as one to watch in 2026, the 21 year old Sunderland artist has been gaining momentum for his explosive live performances and emotionally charged songwriting.

His Oxford appearance at The Bullingdon places him firmly on the city’s live music calendar, offering local audiences the chance to catch an artist on the cusp of wider national recognition in an intimate setting.

Say What You Want showcases a bold coming-of-age sound, blending textured electronics with raw emotion and sharp lyrical instincts.

Tracks such as Fashion have received significant radio airplay, while fan favourite I Don’t Blame You highlights a more synth-driven evolution in Smith’s songwriting, pointing to an artist unafraid to push beyond genre boundaries.

The tour follows a busy period on the road, including a national support run with The Lottery Winners, and builds on an already impressive live CV.

Despite his young age, Smith has performed at Glastonbury, appeared at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, and supported major artists including Catfish and the Bottlemen, Sam Fender, Miles Kane and Elton John, who personally selected him to perform at Hyde Park during his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.

Raised in Houghton-le-Spring, just outside Sunderland, Smith picked up a guitar at the age of four and has remained closely connected to grassroots music venues. His DIY approach, from building a home studio during lockdown to staging fundraiser shows for his local community, has helped shape a sound and identity that resonates strongly with younger audiences.
