Comedy favourite and Giffords Circus star Tweedy The Clown is set to return to the road in spring 2026 with a brand-new headline tour, Tweedy’s Massive Circus: The Big Number 2.
Following a smash-hit debut tour, a riotous run at the Edinburgh Fringe and sold-out London performances, Underbelly has announced the second outing of Tweedy’s much-loved ‘little’ big top.
The tour will run from 26 March to 31 May 2026, visiting venues across Oxfordshire, the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire and North Wiltshire. The show opens at Millets Farm in Frilford, Oxfordshire from 26 March to 04 April, before moving to Old Farm in Moreton-In-Marsh from 8 to 19 April.
Tweedy then heads to Dunkertons in Cheltenham from 23 April to 10 May, with the tour concluding at Eastcourt Farm in Crudwell from 15 to 31 May. Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday 23 January.
Tweedy said: “I’m so excited to be taking Tweedy’s Massive Circus back on the road with The Big Number 2. It’s bigger, bolder and much more bonkers than last time… despite the tent still being very, very tiny. We’ve got a brilliant cast, some wild ideas and just enough confidence to think it’ll all work. I honestly can’t wait to share it with everyone.”

The new show promises a whirlwind of clowning, comedy and controlled chaos as Tweedy attempts to stage what he believes will be the greatest circus show ever. Armed with wildly optimistic ideas, a tiny tent and trusted companions, his world teeters on the edge of delightful disaster in a performance packed with laughs, surprises and heart.
Tweedy will be joined on stage by Sam Goodburn and Charlie Bicknell, both bringing their own distinctive styles of physical comedy and circus skill to the ‘little’ big top. Together, the trio will deliver a joyful family-friendly adventure designed for audiences aged three to 103.
Having performed with Giffords Circus for more than sixteen years, Tweedy is renowned for his mastery of traditional circus skills, musical talent and vaudeville-style clowning.
In 2023, he was awarded a British Empire Medal in the King’s New Year Honours List for services to circus and the local community, marking a historic moment for the artform.
