Education and childcare specialist The Ultimate Activity Company has relocated its headquarters to Wootton Science Park.

The move follows an agreement with Hartwell Plc for office space within the Frontier building at the business park, located around six miles south-west of Oxford.

Founded in 2000, The Ultimate Activity Company runs Ofsted-regulated holiday activity camps for children aged four to 14, focusing on care, welfare and engaging activities during school holidays.

The company has taken 2,200 square feet (204 square metres) of office space at Frontier, relocating its 23 staff members from Compass House in Farmoor to Suite 1 on the ground floor of the building.

The agreement means the Frontier building – previously known as Lashford Court – is now fully occupied, reflecting strong demand for modern, well-connected workspace at the science park.

The Ultimate Activity Company joins several other businesses already based in the building, including Hartwell Plc and Ebbon Dacs.

Luke Hayward, managing director of The Ultimate Activity Company, said the new headquarters supports the company’s future growth plans.

“Wootton Science Park provides the perfect combination of location, quality and flexibility for our next phase of growth. The additional space allows us to easily bring together our team who are based across the county in a professional environment that supports collaboration and future expansion.”

The letting highlights ongoing demand for high-quality office space at the park, which combines a strategic location with flexible workspace designed for expanding businesses.

Joanne Churchill, group property manager at Hartwell Plc, welcomed the company to the site.

“We warmly welcome The Ultimate Activity Company and their staff to Frontier as part of their exciting growth strategy. Achieving full occupancy in the building underlines the strength of demand we are seeing from ambitious, growing businesses that value both connectivity and quality.”

Hartwell has owned Wootton Science Park since 1975 and built its first office building there in 2005.

A recently approved masterplan will deliver approximately 106,233 sq ft (9,869 sq m) of additional commercial space across five new buildings, alongside new amenities including landscaped outdoor areas, secure cycle storage, a bistro and a gym.

The park is already home to several organisations including Bupa’s Stratum Dermatology Clinic and DeepTech Recycling, both based within the Origin building, a purpose-built laboratory facility.

Two units remain available at the park for companies seeking laboratory, research and development or office space close to Oxford in a rural setting.

Property consultancies CBRE and Savills represented Hartwell in the deal, while Bidwells acted for The Ultimate Activity Company.
