A leading national law firm is expanding its footprint into Oxfordshire with the opening of a new office at at Milton Park in Abingdon, strengthening access to specialist rural and agricultural legal services for farmers and landowners across the region.
Roythornes Solicitors is one of the UK’s leading advisers in the agricultural sector, supporting farmers, landowners and rural businesses with a wide range of legal services.
These include land sales and acquisitions, agricultural tenancy agreements, diversification projects such as development and promotion agreements, and renewable energy schemes.
The firm says the new Oxfordshire base will enhance its ability to deliver more locally focused, relationship-driven support to clients in the area, where demand for specialist rural legal advice continues to grow.
Chief Executive Adam White said the move reflects both existing client demand and future opportunity in the region.
“We’re incredibly excited to open our Oxfordshire office. We already act for a number of clients in the region and are well aware of the need for specialist legal advice for this key sector.
“By being based locally, we can provide a much more personalised service to the farming and landowning community. Our recognised expertise in the sector places us extremely well to support clients in identifying opportunities at a time when landowners face many challenges”
Senior Associate Darren Gill, who will be based at the new office, highlighted the firm’s established local relationships and growing demand for rural legal expertise.
“It’s great news that the firm has committed to opening an office in Oxfordshire. During my time working in the region, I have built strong relationships with local farmers, landowners and professional advisers.
“We are already seeing significant demand for specialist rural legal advice. The Oxfordshire office enables us to better service our clients in this region and demonstrates our long‑term commitment to the area and surrounding counties.
The Abingdon office is intended to serve as a platform for further regional growth, as the firm continues its national expansion.
