Bicester Village has announced a landmark new partnership with Shreeji News, the Marylebone-based newsagent and curated print destination renowned for its independent editorial voice and carefully selected magazine culture.

At the heart of the collaboration is a significant first for Shreeji News: the launch of its inaugural satellite newsstand, Shreeji Presents: The Village News, created exclusively for Bicester Village.

The installation reinterprets the spirit of its Chiltern Street home in a new setting, offering visitors a considered selection of international fashion, design and independent publishing within the retail landscape of the Village.

The partnership brings together two destinations united by a shared philosophy — a belief in the value of physical spaces, thoughtful curation and the slow, intentional discovery of ideas.

With Marylebone just under an hour from Oxfordshire, the collaboration also forms a natural cultural bridge between London and the countryside retail experience shaped by The Bicester Collection.

Beyond the satellite newsstand, the collaboration extends into a broader editorial ecosystem.

Bicester Village’s publication, The Villager, edited by former Condé Nast Traveller Editor-in-Chief Melinda Stevens, will enter a new seasonal format in its second year, evolving into a long-term editorial platform.

As the official stockist, Shreeji News will anchor its London presence, with additional distribution across curated hotels, members’ clubs and cultural venues in London and Oxfordshire.

Complementing this, The Bicester Collection London City Guide and a series of Pocket Guide itineraries will also be available through Shreeji News, offering an editorial lens on travel between London and Oxfordshire.

A lighter, more playful dimension to the partnership comes through a limited-edition merchandise collection, designed in-house. Available at both Chiltern Street and Bicester Village, the range includes caps, notebooks and stationery featuring slogans such as “Not in your Notes app” and “Niche interests”, reinforcing the shared celebration of offline living and tangible experiences.

Live programming will further define the collaboration, drawing on Shreeji News’ established reputation for hosting conversations, signings and cultural events in Marylebone. Select moments will be reimagined at Bicester Village, creating a dynamic exchange of ideas and audiences between the two locations.

Sandeep Garg, Owner of Shreeji News, said:

“Looking into the future, one has to acknowledge the past. Shreeji’s journey has always had inspiration and support from individuals and partners that have helped to shape it.

“Our upcoming partnership with Bicester Village is equally exciting as we have so many shared values built around providing spaces to engage on a more personal level. The experience is intentionally offline and geared towards an unrushed genuine exchange.”

The partnership marks a wider shift towards experiential retail and cultural programming, where physical spaces are increasingly designed not only for commerce, but for connection, storytelling and shared experience.
