Viola Snow, the husky behind a huge social-media following, will make a special appearance at DogFest at Blenheim Palace in October, with two limited Meet & Greet sessions planned for Sunday 04 October.
Dog lovers heading to Blenheim Palace this autumn will have the chance to meet one of the internet’s most recognisable dogs when Viola Snow appears at the first DogFest at the Oxfordshire palace.
The viral husky will make a special appearance at DogFest at the Palace on Sunday 04 October, joining a weekend programme dedicated to dogs and their owners.
Viola Snow has built a substantial following across social media, where her appearances with owner and creator have turned her into a familiar face among dog lovers. Her visit to Blenheim will give fans the opportunity to see her in person and have a photograph taken with her.
Two Meet & Greet sessions are planned during the Sunday event, at 10.45am and 2.30pm. Places will be allocated through a free ballot, with successful entrants contacted ahead of the festival. A valid DogFest admission ticket for Sunday 04 October is required.
DogFest at the Palace runs from Saturday 03 October to Sunday 04 October, marking the festival’s first event at Blenheim Palace. The event is being held in the palace grounds and will include dog shows, breed meet-ups, activities for dogs and their owners, food, shopping and live entertainment.
Among the attractions is the Agria Fun Dog Show, which will feature royal-themed categories before crowning a “Best in Palace”, alongside the Agria Big Dog Walk through the grounds.
The Palace Lawn will provide a more relaxed area with picnic seating and live acoustic music, while visitors can also take part in activities including the Dogstacle Course and explore the event’s food and shopping areas.
DogFest is scheduled to run from 9.30am to 4.30pm on both days, with tickets starting from £27.50. Standard parking is included with admission, while the event is separately ticketed from Blenheim Palace.
For dog owners across Oxfordshire, the arrival of DogFest adds another major autumn event to Blenheim Palace’s calendar — but for Viola Snow’s online following, the opportunity to meet the viral husky in person may prove the weekend’s biggest draw.
